Powder Coating

Powder coating complements our fabricated parts by providing a durable, high-quality finish that enhances both appearance and performance. It offers excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, and environmental exposure while maintaining consistent color and coverage. By finishing parts in house, O.E.M. Precision improves lead times, quality control, and overall value for our customers.

Prior to powder coating, O.E.M. Precision carefully prepares each part to ensure optimal adhesion and long-term performance of the finish. Depending on customer requirements, material type, and finish specifications, parts are processed through a phosphate wash or prepared by sandblasting to remove contaminants, oils, and surface imperfections. Our preparation methods follow powder supplier technical data sheets and recommended pretreatment processes, ensuring the coating system performs as intended for durability, corrosion resistance, and appearance.

Once parts are properly prepped, powder is applied using our in-house finishing operation. O.E.M. Precision operates two 25-foot powder spray booths along with two curing ovens measuring 25 feet and 35 feet in length. This capacity allows us to process higher volumes and larger parts in parallel, improving throughput while maintaining consistent quality. By coating more parts at one time, we help reduce lead times and overall production costs for our customers.

We have our customers not only local in California but have expanded to serve customers across the United States as well. We utilize different avenues to ensure parts can be shipped to your location in a timely matter.

We are conveniently located located in our 17,000 sq ft. manufacturing facility in Riverside County.
